You will work closely with clients, real estate agents, and underwriters to manage and streamline the loan process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking real estate loans. Explain loan options, answer questions, and provide guidance throughout the application process to ensure a positive client experience.
• Application Management: Assist clients with the loan application process, including gathering and reviewing necessary documentation. Ensure all information is complete and accurate before submission to underwriting.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all real estate loan applications adhere to company policies, federal and state regulations, and industry standards. Prepare and maintain comprehensive loan files and records.
• Pre-Approval Process: Conduct initial assessments of loan applications to determine eligibility. Coordinate with underwriters and other stakeholders to facilitate the pre-approval and approval processes.
• Communication: Provide clients with timely updates on their loan application status, including any additional documentation or information required. Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with real estate agents, loan officers, and underwriters to ensure smooth coordination throughout the loan origination process. Facilitate communication and problem-solving between parties as needed.
• Market Knowledge: Stay informed about real estate market trends, loan products, and changes in regulations to offer clients relevant advice and solutions.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by handling client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Ensure clients have a clear understanding of the loan process and their options.
• Data Management: Accurately enter and maintain loan information in company systems. Ensure all data is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current status of each loan application.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business, real estate, or a related field required.
• Experience: Previous experience in real estate loan origination or a related financial services role is highly desirable. Familiarity with real estate loan products and processes is a plus.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with loan origination software is advantageous.
• Compliance: Knowledge of real estate loan regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices is preferred.
• Personal Traits: Self-motivated, with a strong customer service orientation. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
